Welcome! I have recently become Chairman of Floridians for Industry, Jobs and Growth, Inc. I would like to thank Jeff Clyne for his efforts establishing FIJG and for his leadership that has guided FIJG to become the premier organization representing the industrial worker in Florida. I am honored to have the opportunity to assume the Chairman’s role and responsibilities. I look forward to continuing to grow and expand the capability of FIJG and continuing it’s mission to make sure our elected leaders clearly hear the message that industrial workers, their families and their communities support our industrial employers and their vital economic contributions to Florida. This site was established to be the place where Floridians who work in industrial facilities and for the suppliers, contractors and other businesses that support Florida’s industrial operations can go for the latest information on issues critical to the industrial employers in Florida. These issues can be related in numerous ways to the operational requirements of industry in Florida. Legislative issues, permitting issues, offshore oil and gas exploration, elections for local and state offices, environmental, health insurance, workers compensation insurance, safety and training are just some of the challenges faced every day by industrial facilities operating in Florida. This site is dedicated to making sure the employees that work in industrial facilities located in Florida are informed and have a voice in our local and state governmental agencies on legislative issues that affect our families and communities. FIJG will continue to increase communications regarding issues important to industrial workers and our families. We will add capabilities to this website that will insure our voice is heard by our elected officials and they are informed about the key facts, statistics and issues affecting the industrial facilities and their operations in Florida. It is critical for every employee whose job is connected to industrial operations and the businesses that support these facilities to join our coalition.
